Manny Pacquiao defeats Joshua Clottey

Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao defeated Joshua Clottey in a unanimous decision and defended his WBO Welterweight Title, according to ESPN. After the fight, Pacquiao said he wants to fight Floyd Mayweather. Unfortunately, Pacquiao's budding singing career isn't doing nearly as well as his boxing one.

Boxer Amir Khan set to defend world title, make U.S. debut in New York
British boxer Amir Khan (22-1, 16 KOs) will defend his WBA light welterweight title against Paulie Malignaggi on May 15 at Madison Square Garden, according to the Associated Press. This will be the 23-year-old's first professional fight in the U.S. Khan was a silver medalist in the 2004 Olympics.

 

Tiger Woods says he will play in Masters

Golfer Tiger Woods announced he will end his four-month hiatus brought on by a sex scandal and return to the Masters, according to ESPN.

 

Uncut version of John Woo's 'Red Cliff' coming to Starz FilmCenter

Director John Woo's epic period piece, "Red Cliff," will be shown in its entire 286-minute form in four showings from March 19-21 at the Starz FilmCenter. Tickets cost $15. "Red Cliff" stars Tony Leung, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Fengyi Zhang.
