Warriors sign guard Jeremy Lin

Guard Jeremy Lin signed with the Golden State Warriors on July 21. The 21-year-old Harvard graduate becomes the first Asian-American player in the NBA since Rex Walters in the '90s. As a senior, Lin averaged 16.4 points, 4.5 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game.


Rich Cho named general manager of Trail Blazers

Former Oklahoma City Thunder Assistant General Manager Rich Cho was named the general manager of the Portland Trail Blazers on July 19. Cho becomes the first Asian-American to hold this position in the NBA.
