NAAAP Colorado seeks school supplies for Asian refugee students

Local professionals group are accepting school supplies during speed-networking event on Aug. 17

DENVER – NAAAP Colorado is holding a drive for new school supplies for Asian refugees during its speed networking event on Aug. 17 at the Rooster & Moon Cafe.


The group, in conjunction with the Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership, is seeking donations of school supplies to help Colorado's Asian refugee students. These supplies include:


• Pencils, pens, markers and highlighters

• Erasers

• Notebooks and loose-leaf paper

• Folders

• Bookbags


For those unable to attend the networking event but would still like to donate, organizers are accepting supplies at the Rooster & Moon Cafe from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
