Denver's Kimberly Kim leads Pioneers to Sun Belt women's golf title
Freshman from Hawaii earned first SBC individual title, multiple accolades

Freshman Kimberly Kim led the Denver Pioneers women's golf team to their seventh-consecutive Sun Belt Conference title on April 21 in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
The Pahoa, Hawaii-native shot a 1-under-par 71 on the third day of the tournament to finish with a three-round total of 215 and win her first SBC women's golf title. The Pioneers captured the team title with a three round total of 865, 34 strokes better than second-place Middle Tennessee.
Kim was named the 2010 SBC Women's Golf Freshman of the Year and was named to the 2010 SBC Women's Golf All-Conference Team. The 15th-ranked Pioneers will play in the NCAA Regional Championships from May 6-8.
Kim will also make her second appearance on the U.S. Curtis Cup Team this June. At the age of 14, she won the 2006 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, becoming the youngest winner in the history of the tournament.
